Crafted in Love, Styled in Italy — A Lake Garda Wedding
Silvia Falconi, creative director of Emé, and Christopher Martarelli met by chance on Lake Garda, and it was on the lake they now call home that they chose to marry. After a ceremony in an old church dressed in white flowers, with a mirrored aisle beneath their feet, the celebration moved to the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, the hillside estate of the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Guests gathered for the aperitivo on the deck of the Nave Puglia, the ship set among the trees above the water, before a dinner staged as a show and a night of dancing. Silvia wore four Emé looks across the celebration, among them the Fiore gown in silk organza with a long train of hand-embroidered petals, and a tulle cape in place of a veil. White, soft pastels and mirror ran through every detail of a day planned with Silvia Bettini.
